Allison Mandelbaum, M.S., CCC-SLP, PC is a co-founder and owner of Breakthrough Pediatric Therapy. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton. In 2017, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, clinics and hospitals.
She holds her certificate of clinical competence and New Jersey license in Speech and Language Pathology. Allison became PROMPT trained in 2018 and PROMPT certified in 2020.
Blair Koczan, M.S., CCC-SLP is a co-founder and owner of Breakthrough Pediatric Therapy. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Towson University in 2004 with her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology. In 2006, she received a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. She has worked in a wide spectrum of pediatrics ranging from early intervention, private practice & public and private schools throughout her career. She holds a certificate of clinical competence and New Jersey license in Speech and Language Pathology. Blair is a PROMPT trained therapist.
Kate Compton, M.S., OTR/L is a co-owner and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor at Breakthrough Pediatric Therapy. She graduated from the University of Scranton Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Minor in Psychology. She is also a certified Kinesiotape practitioner. She is trained on Handwriting Without Tears and Zones of Regulation. Kate has worked in multiple settings in the field of occupational therapy including adult orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. Kate also has 15+ years of experience treating students in the pediatric field with feeding disorders, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, visual and fine motor challenges and more. She has worked in settings which provide outpatient rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation, as well as in the school setting.
