- Speech-Language and Occupational Therapy Screenings:
Breakthrough Pediatric Therapy offers speech/language and occupational screenings to any students in schools/daycares in Monmouth County. Screenings are a short assessment of the student’s current skill level, and gives parents an indication if further evaluations may be warranted. We try to satisfy a service gap that often occurs between the end of early intervention at age three and the start of kindergarten at age five (although the screenings are open to younger ages as well). Offering these services in the building also allows busy parents with hectic schedules the opportunity for their child to receive services during their school day. *Only done at schools/daycares*
- Comprehensive Speech-Language and/or Occupational Therapy Evaluations:
A formal evaluation provides the clinician with information to create a formal treatment plan and functional therapy goals. From this evaluation, you obtain a formal written report, obtain standardized scores and understand the child’s strengths
and areas of need. *Can be completed at schools/daycares or after 4PM in Oakhurst, NJ*
THE SCHOOL MUST GIVE PERMISSION FOR US TO ENTER THE BUILDING AND PROVIDE THESE SERVICES PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULING
